Welcome to, and thank you for visiting the website of the Rowan Amateur Radio Society. Our club is located in Salisbury NC, the county seat and largest city within Rowan County. We are centrally located between the mountains and the coast of North Carolina in an area known as the Piedmont. The Rowan Amateur Radio Society was founded in 1937, and we have been an ARRL affiliated club since 1968! Meetings are held on the second Monday of each month at 7:00 PM. Happy Holiday's From The Rowan ARS

The Rowan Amateur Radio Society’s Annual Christmas Party and Dinner will begin at 6:00 PM on December 12, 2011. This event will be held at the Rufty-Holmes Senior Center, 1120 Martin Luther King Jr. Ave. South, Salisbury NC 28144
