Don’t forget Field Day starts tomorrow June 26th!

Members of the Rowan Amateur Radio Society will set up radios and antennas and begin talking to people all around the world at about noon on Saturday at Sloan Park using only alternate/emergency power sources. This is a fun, educational and free event the whole family can enjoy together.

The weather forecast for our area is typical for this time of year, variable cloud cover with a chance of showers and thunderstorms in the afternoon and early evening. Humid with highs in the mid 90s. Southwest winds between 5 and 10 mph should offer some relief from the heat. The chance of rain is only about 30 percent.
