It looks as though HR 607 is no longer a concern to the Amateur Radio community. This after a new bill was introduced into the Senate titled “S 1040-The Broadband for First Responders Act of 2011″ which appears to achieve the desired goals, without auctioning off ham bands. 8:00 AM – Breakfast with the W4VEC VE Group at the Checkered Flag located at South Main and Hwy 150 in Salisbury.
9:30 AM – W4VEC test session at the Salisbury Library. Walk-ins welcome.
2:00 PM – FoxHunt. Meet at the Salisbury Mall in front of the Cafeteria. The hunt starts at 2:00 PM sharp. If you don’t have any equipment, come on out and ride with someone. You don’t know what you’ve been missing.
