Animated FirecrackersThe Rowan Amateur Radio Society is proud to sponsor this annual, one day event, now in it’s 16th year! As with any Flea Market or Hamfest you just never know what you might find, but you can expect plenty of deals on new and/or used radio and electronics equipment.

The FirstFest Hamfest in Winston-Salem scheduled for Saturday, January 8, 2011 is being postponed until a later date due to impending stormy winter weather and possible adverse road conditions. The greater Winston-Salem area has been placed under a Winter Weather Advisory by the National Weather Service.

The Forsyth Amateur Radio Club, sponsor of FirstFest, hopes to reschedule the hamfest to take place before the end of February. The revised date will be announced on the Forsyth Club’s website soon at:
